Makeup Collection

Hey lovelies!

I have ANOTHER snow day today... #14... I am going to show you all of my favorite beauty products, not just make up.

All/most of my makeup is from BeautiControl.

To start off, here are pictures of my makeup and the order I apply them. If I don't specify the company, then it is BeautiControl.

Ministry

Hello everyone!

I am an active volunteer in our cafe ministry at my church. I have been working in the cafe since I was nine, which has now been 8 years. I really enjoy serving people at my church and being able to use my skills to serve God. 

I work in the drink department, which makes espresso drinks, teas, smoothies and frappes. I am one of the main baristas. I LOVE to make drinks in the cafe because they smell so good and I have a talent for it.

I have found out that one of my God given talents is cooking. I have always loved food, preparing food, and serving it. That is my goal one day to use my talents and serve God by cooking and baking for the community. 

I would like to mostly go to college for baking and pastry arts. I have to choose between Baker College and Grand Rapids Community College. Both schools have great culinary programs, so it is a tough choice.

My ministry at church has helped me mature in my social life and has also helped me find out what I like. I love working around food and customers. Since I have started working in the cafe, I have blossomed personality wise, and with better communication. I'm not as afraid to talk with customers and I have a better time with leadership skills. 

Overall, my time working in the cafe has improved my life greatly and I'm glad that God put the opportunity in my life to serve along with my mom. My mom started working in the cafe before I did, and she started dragging me along with her :)

Today, because we are pretty much snowed in, I decided to do some baking. Haven't finish yet, but I tried a new recipe!

Snowday #13

Is this crazy, or what?

The weather is so different from last year! Last year, we didn't even have a white Christmas! 

It is really freaky at my house because I live on a road with HUGE trees. Two years ago when it was windy, a tree broke through our fence! Ahh!

We have gotten a TON of snow and it rained last night and then froze. The weather is no friend of mine this year!

Clothing Haul

Hey everyone!

I went shopping on Saturday and picked up some cute stuff that was on sale and cheap... 

First of all, I went to Target. I bought a leather jacket, and a cute skater dress.

Next, I went to the river town mall to shop at JcPenny. I bought two new pairs of jeans and a skirt there.

Snuggle time/ Nighttime routine

Hello peoples!

Every night, I feel like I repeat the same process over and over again.

It starts like this...

Step 1: take a shower. My showers last about 30-45 minutes long. I love hot (like really hot) showers... I wash my hair, body and face.

Step 2: cleaning my face. I have special acne creams, tonics and moisturizers that I use to try and keep my face fairly healthy.

Step 3: brushing teeth. Pretty self explanatory...

Step 4: lie in bed with my sopping wet hair and snuggle with my cat. My cat found her home on my bed. After my alarm goes off in the morning, she leaves, but until then, she sleeps with me. 

Step 5: sleep. zzZZ

I am about to complete my nightly routine right now with step 5, so I am going to sign off. My snuggle buddy says goodnight!

Randomness....

Hello friends!
I got bored, so I decided to go onto "Photobooth" and take a bunch of random picture, which resulted in this:

When I took them it was a group of 4 that made a box, but for some reason it split them apart when I downloaded them. Either way, I found them pretty funny!

I am also wearing my super comfy hat from Aeropostale for two reasons:

1. It is warm.

2. My hair is greasy and nasty (like always)

3. I look cute in it :)

Yes, that is three.. But who cares.

The ACT is coming up in 2 and 1/2 weeks and I am SUPER DUPER nervous! We took practice tests this week in my math class and I sucked really badly! I really want to do good on them but I don't know what else I can do!

I guess, since I have nothing else I want to talk about, I will post some more random pictures that might make you laugh :P

This is my cousin, Branden, and I. We are the same age (I am older of course!) and we are pretty cool!

Here is a picture from color guard season. My friend, Opal, and I are throwing our rifles and our hands are nowhere near where they are supposed to be :)

Can you tell we were cold? Haha!

Eighth grade band... Beautiful uniforms, right?

When I broke my arm between sixth and seventh grade year. You want to know how it happened? Monkey bars... That's how...

This is my cousin and I five years ago... Much has changed.. :)

What I would rather be doing....

Hey everybody! My last post was supposed to be yesterday's post, so I decided to make another one.
This post is about what the title says, what I would rather be doing...

Instead of sitting around the house, going to school, and doing homework, I would rather be LONG BOARDING!

I have loved long boarding ever since my Dad made me my own board. Here is a picture of it :)

I would rather be long boarding at the beach or near my house. The wind in my hair and the fresh air around me :)

So yea... Here is a picture of my skateboarding shoes. They are checkered Vans and they are really comfortable!

Introducing..... ALEXA!

Hey you! Yea, you! Welcome!

This is my little sister... She is a big goofball! We had to take about 20 pictures until she cooperated to take a good one.

This is the first picture that I made her take with me and she made the creepiest face ever! :)

This is the last picture that we took together where we both made the worst faces we could think of! They turned out pretty horrible if I say so myself... :)

Once upon a time..

What's up buddies?

In today's post, I am going to tell you about all of my future dreams! Although they will probably not come true, they are fun to dream about :)

Here is my dream car; a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, preferably red.

Next is my dream house. I have always pictured it being near a lake and having a unique appearance, such as large windows.

For my dream job.... I really want to own my own bakery! Making cakes, cookies, and many other pastries :)

Another vehicle I would love would be a Four Winns speed boat. I love tubing and it would be the perfect way to have fun at my dream house...

My dream bedroom would be very sophisticated and pretty, using grey and lilac.

Lastly, I would change my wardrobe. I would love to have a closet full of sophisticated dresses, comfy sweaters, cute skirts, and blazers.
